The Arco Base dining table is a design by Jorre van Ast. The Base table is profiled by Arco as a straight table; a sturdy table made of durable materials that can take a beating. It is anything but straightforward. Much attention has been paid to the model, which, despite its imposing appearance, exudes a certain elegance. The top consists of two solid planks that leave a groove in the middle that defines its appearance. Even the wooden base, with its rounded edges, seems to fit almost seamlessly into the concrete. Interestingly, this is the first table from Arco's Local Wood collection. This means that the wood for this table comes from the region around the Arco factory in Winterswijk. The entire process, from drying to final production, takes place locally. Natural "imperfections" in the wood are not hidden, but can be admired at the top in all their glory.
The Base table has a sturdy, over 4 inches thick top made of solid oak, which is finished with matte transparent lacquer, preserving the open structure of the table. As a result, it retains its natural look and is less prone to scratching.
The concrete base has a dark gray finish .
All three sizes have a height of 75 centimeters. The height from the bottom of the table top to the floor is 71 centimeters. The nice thing about the base of this table is that it can be mounted by our delivery people at 22, 32, 42 or 52 centimeters from the short side. This gives you flexibility when it comes to the number or width of your chairs.
