Product description
Small anthropomorphic Peruvian pottery vase signed Antonio Olave, circa 50-60. Rounded body with flared neck, on the neck is a man's face in relief, hand-painted in earthy tones, mainly very dark burgundy, terra cotta, black... As well as white, green, yellow... The motifs cover the entire surface, including the top of the inside of the neck, and include very fine geometric motifs and an illustration in the center of the body at the front, of a figure holding branches. A very fine piece of craftsmanship, I think each of the artist's creations is unique in its design. 11cm high, approx. 9cm wide max (2 small handles on body), 4.5cm diameter at neck. Perfect condition, nothing notable, it leans a little to the left as it's made that way. Approx. 200gr.
