Antique faux bamboo mirror completely in Chinoiserie style, very popular in the Art Nouveau period, France, this specimen dates from around the 20-30s.
Beautiful wooden mirror carved to resemble bamboo, hence the name faux bamboo, this piece bears a very nice weathered age patina on the wood and the mirror glass is decoratively mocked up, which is common on very old mirrors.
