A cozy basket made of rye straw from the early 1900s France.Very nice model and handmade. A fun fact about it, these hives were mostly lost in the wars because they were often used to light fires. Hence you do not find them in large numbers anymore. Now very attractive in the house to use with branches from different seasons or just as decoration. Height: 36 cm. Diam. in the middle: 41 cm.
As you can see this basket has been used.But still very good to use now. It is sturdy not quite straight. Which again is very charming.
