An antique office chair produced between 1900 and 1920 by 'H. B. & W. Co.' or 'Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Coorperation'. The chair has a wooden frame with bars in the back. The seat has a green upholstered seat that is finished with decorative rivets. The height of the seat is adjustable and the four-legged base has a recline system with a spring. The chair is surprisingly comfortable to use.The chair is in excellent condition for its age. The wood is in undamaged condition and has a nice patina. The base has slight play from time but this is hardly noticeable during use. The upholstery is fully intact and the padding is still in good condition.
