Beautiful antique side table, narrow console table entirely made of varnished and partially gilded wood, with a beautiful marble table top, entirely in Louis XVI style, circa 1900 or earlier, France.
This rare French side table bears a beautiful patina of age and is elaborately decorated with acanthus tendrils, ribbons, rosette ornaments and patterns, at the bottom a geometric shape with a central wicker decoration, the whole bears a beautiful piece of Estours marble from the Pyrenees with green accents and an ivory background (not the original marble).
This object comes into its own in a classic home but can equally shine in a modern setting!
The table is in good antique condition, the wood has set over the years so the legs are no longer perfectly straight, the X shaped frame at the bottom also shows a horizontal crack due to age, the whole is still very solid and sturdy, check the photos for more details!
