Unique and authentic family heirloom from around 1900 with strong influences of the rococo style: ornate carvings with C- and S-shaped scrolls and flowers. The French butterfly canapé was completely renovated several years ago: new springs, padding, padded back and upholstered with velours in turquoise-blue. This beauty deserves a place as an eye-catcher in an entrance hall or salon.
The padded backrest is missing 3 buttons (1 of which is justified) and the wooden frame has user marks at the legs appropriate for its age. The sofa has always been in the house with the back against a wall (smoke-free and pet-free).
