Very nice early 20th century handmade pitcher or jug, in pale yellow glazed terra cotta. Made in the South of France. Top and neck glazed slightly more yellow than the bottom of the body. Attractive ring base, beautiful handle with 3 grooves, wide round neck with spout. 18cm high, approx. 14cm max. diameter, approx. 20cm max. width with handle. Very good overall condition, with no major cracks or missing parts. It does, however, show a patina of age, with a number of small chips in the varnish, harmonious overall. Can be used as a vase. Approx. 900gr.
