Antique Chinese rice basket, picking basket or storage basket. Commonly these wooden baskets were used to pick rice or other edibles and then put away as a storage basket with a cloth over it. The item is in beautiful vintage used condition. The edges are hand-hammered metal with nails. It cannot be said with 100% certainty if the cloth is original. Seller has been told it is.
