Zemmour rugs are often characterized by repetitive cloisonné geometric patterns and bright colors. Entirely handmade on an old-fashioned wooden loom by an experienced Berber weaver from the Zemmour tribe in the western Middle Atlas. Each carpet has imperfections and an irregular appearance, the manufacture being artisanal and ancient. The shades on this one are due solely to the passage of time.
