Product description
Serigraph of Geronimo from the Cowboys & Indians series by Andy Warhol. Geronimo was an Apache Indian leader and was also known as a rebel. He managed to escape from the San Carlos reservation several times, but was captured each time.
In 1986 Andy Warhol created the Cowboys and Indians portfolio. In this portfolio, Warhol shows the popular version of American Western history. Putting icons like General Custer, Annie Oakley, and Geronimo into one portfolio, these ten serigraphs by Andy Warhol aim to expose the controversies surrounding America's perception of cowboys and Native Americans.
