This Space Age designed ceiling light / flush mount was manufactured in Germany in the 1960s/1970s by ERCO Leuchten (model number 7171).
It features a matt polished aluminium globe shade and adjustable joint connected to a black plastic mounting.
The fixture is characteristic of the design aesthetic of the 1960s and 1970s and was influenced by the Space Age and the Atomic Age. Sputnik lamps are popular for their futuristic design.
The light requires one E27 bulb.
