Product description
Alias - Mario Botta - Quinta - Chair - Quinta - Metal
Italy - 1980-1990
Quinta isn't just a chair; it's architecture you sit on. Designed in 1985, this iconic chair reflects the influence of Botta's mentors, including Le Corbusier, Louis Kahn and Carlo Scarpa. The openwork steel back and seat allow flexibility when sitting or leaning back, offering unexpected comfort. The chair's architectural lines recall Botta's design for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art building, his first in the USA. An example of this chair is currently on display at the Museum of Modern Art. This is your chance to acquire one of the last examples of this iconic, collectible design in production.
The right-hand seat is missing a screw, which can easily be replaced.
