Alfred Fontville De Breanski Jr. (1877 - 1945) Breanski Jr. was a scion of a well-known British family of painters. He was the son of Alfred de Breanski and Annie Roberts, both painters. He learned his trade from his parents and then to St. Martin's School of Art. Here he met Whistler. After his training, Breanski traveled to France where he would work with Whistler. Whistler would influence him to such an extent that he would continue to paint in an impressionist style for the rest of his life.
Viewing is, of course, available. Left of center, a tear in the canvas has been professionally repaired. We also have our own in-house frame shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore, we use conservators from the trade association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. The state only relates to the work. Should you wish to make use of this, please let us know.
