This is a really special desk that you can use as a solo desk (205 cm) (see photo from living room) or extend it to a conference table (579 cm). Attention! The solid glass table tops are very heavy: approx 30-40 kg/each.
This beautiful design table by Ahrend consists of three glass tabletops with built-in lighting under the tabletops and equipped with 8 beautiful table legs in chrome.

Ahrend finished number two in last year's election for most popular Dutch furniture brand.
Ahrend 1200: A super sleek design table with a transparent top and integrated lighting. As with much of Ahrend's furniture, you can choose from different versions of the Arend 1200.
Not the design, but the user is central to Ahrend. For the top, you can choose frosted glass or solid but transparent plastic (acrylic). The aluminum legs of this table are available in different colors of powder coating and in chrome. Ahrend 1200 is completely modular.
In addition to the standard table, connectors are available, allowing you to give this table any shape you want. This allows the Ahrend 1200 to be used as a desk, but also as a conference table.
The Ahrend 1200 was designed in 2005 by Meyer and Schooten Architects, who are also responsible for ING's striking headquarters at Amsterdam's Zuidas business district. Looking at both designs, the similarities are obvious. The design of the Ahrend 1200 can easily compete with renowned international design brands such as Vitra or top Italian design. Reason enough to declare the Ahrend 1200 table Dutch design of the week.
