Product description
TOPS!!! Width 62/50, depth 50/44. height 96/96 cm. Craftsman-made chairs by Amsterdam furniture maker János Varecza (see photo Grolsch advertising campaign: Craftsmanship is Mastership). Indestructible. They don't make them like this anymore! Oak chairs from 1960-70 from scrap wood antique church (so: hard worked wood). Wooden pin joints. Incredibly comfortable seating, but too heavy for dining chairs. Suitable for stately room or distinguished entryway. Needs re-waxing to make them shine nicely again. 6x€200 plus 2x€300 = €1800.
Some discoloration (due to moisture), especially on the underside and rust marks on the seats from nails (otherwise no nails or iron connectors).
