The chair forms the basis of an entire design line that Ernst Moeckl designed for the manufacturer Lübke at the beginning of the 1960s.
In the so-called structural engineering group, chairs, Armchairs, Tables and reception furniture were created using modular construction.
Moeckl finally received the IF Design Award in 1968 for this chair.
