Set of 8 Egon Eiermann SE18 folding chairs folding chairs, Wilde & Spieth
once designed for and shown at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1953, the College of Design in Ulm in 1955 and at the World's Fair in Brussels in 1958.
A minimalist and exciting design, with solid construction, high functionality, and has the ability to store on compact as a folding chair.
8 pieces.
of which 7 are in a very special version with an extra wooden element which is a beautiful part of the chairs ad rear, intended as a coat hook, the 8th is a "normal" version (without an extra element ad rear)
Awarded the "Good Design Award" from the Museum of Modern Art in New York , the year after it received an award at the X. Milan Triennial.
Meanwhile, after more than 60 years, it's design also convincingly succeeded in practice. Over the years, the chair has lost nothing of its original charm.
Seat folds upwards when the chair is folded.
