Set of 7 dining chairs The C2 model by Willy Rizzo for Cidue was made in Italy in the 1970s. A genius photographer became a furniture designer because, in his opinion, "Scandinavian furniture was not comfortable or luxurious enough." He designed the first furniture for his own flat. Willy Rizzo never wanted to be a furniture designer, but his friends saw what he did in his flat and fell in love with his furniture. Beautiful geometric shapes, elegant simplicity, comfort and solidity. The originality of his furniture comes from his independence as a designer who never copied or collaborated, which explains this striking and very different style. The chairs feature thick, deep brown, original cowhide leather and elegant, flowing chrome tubular frames. In very good vintage condition. The chrome is in good condition. The leather shows signs of wear and age, which gives the chairs character and charm. The chairs are really durable, sturdy and heavy. All parts are original, never restored. This is a wonderful decoration for your office, bar, kitchen or living room. Thanks to the electric base and thick leather, they look very solid and sturdy.
