Product description
I am offering a Thonet chair set of 6 chairs from the 70s. The heirlooms have been completely refurbished and varnished by a carpenter and reupholstered and covered with new fabric by an upholsterer.
The chairs are only available as a complete set.
The 210 P chair is 54 centimetres wide, 57 centimetres deep and 75 centimetres high. The seat height of the chairs is 47 centimeters. The furniture is made of beech wood. The back and seat of the chairs are made of molded plywood with so-called mirror upholstery, which really brings out the beech wood.
The chair was designed and manufactured by the Thonet brothers around 1900 and looks like a beautiful sculpture in the room. The Swiss designer and architect Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris, known by his artist name Le Corbusier, presented the bentwood armchair to the public in 1927 in the Stuttgart Weissenhof Estate, which was initiated by the representatives of modernism and has shaped architecture and living to the present day.
