These beautiful Thonet 404 H stools designed by Stefan Diez originate from the original bentwood chairs and still look great. The molded plywood seat gives this wooden stool an excellent sitting position. The base is formed by 3 legs which ensures that this stool always stands straight. Stefan Diez (1971) is one of the most discussed designers of the current generation. His works have received several awards, including the prestigious Red Dot Award and the IF Product Award. He has also won several awards in the field of material innovation. He gained his experience as an assistant to a number of big names within the world of furniture design, including Richard Sapper and Konstantin Grcic. Since 2003, he has worked from his own studio, focusing mainly on product and exhibition design.
