Gray Eames DSS bucket chair – vintage Herman Miller production – 6 chairs available.
Fiberglass and polyester chair, first designed in 1954. Charles and Ray created this design in response to the need for a lightweight stacking chair that could be quickly set up for large groups and stored away just as quickly.
The Eames' paid attention to detail, so the base of the chair is equipped with nylon glides with ball joints to absorb unevenness in the floor.
Have signs of wear and some corrosion on the chrome. Otherwise in good condition and beautiful in color and structure.
You can see from the edges of the chairs that they are not new and the chrome has some rust, especially at the bottom of the chair. The legs and tubs are still beautiful.
