Set of six DKX wire chairs designed by Charles Eames for Herman Miller in 1954.
DKX stands for Dining (D) height, K- Wire (K) chair on X base (X). The X base was replaced by the lighter and more versatile "H Base" in 1954, but for the sake of continuity, the X remained in the name.
These chairs come from the second owner and are still in good condition. On one seat, the seat is loose on the side. You could re-weld this, now it is glued. You get this 6th seat for free.
Marked: couple of chairs still have the original Herman Miller sticker.
Dimensions: h x w x d = 83 x 48 x 51 cm and the seat height is 46 cm / 18.11".
Material: chromed. floor caps are in tact.
Bikini "Eifel Base" fabric seats I no longer have.
