Painting titled "50QDLT-1" on the 1976 French 50 Francs banknote, painted by Wxyz. The artwork is signed on the back, it comes with a certificate of authenticity. This banknote is held by two magnetized Plexiglas blocks, block size: 15 x 20 cm. They contain three logos engraved on the bottom of the banknote. Wxyz was born in Paris in 1980, grew up and still works in East Paris. He owes his artistic awakening to the observation, from an early age, of wall inscriptions. Since 1996, he has painted many walls, mainly in the Paris area. Since then, he enjoys transforming letters and looking for new ways to draw Wxyz with "all the colors of the alphabet," as he likes to tell children. In his works, the letter is more than a pseudonym; it serves as a pretext for exploring colors and shapes, as a skeleton for abstraction. Wxyz participated in numerous collective exhibitions and had 2 solo exhibitions in Paris in 2015 and 2020. His last group exhibition took place in Paris in 2020, at the VAO exhibition, alongside big names in street art such as Jonone, Atlas, Arnaud Liard, Jerome G. Demuth, Apostle of Lek."
