Product description
4 oak chairs (possibly 1 or 2 more), unused and a unique design: it is the original version of the Stammplatz, a design Alfredo Häberli.
Produced in Germany, from Oak and finished with oil. New price now would be EUR 795 each, or EUR 3280 for 4 chairs, now for EUR 1395.
The variant with semi-armrests has been exhibited, among others, at the Museum Paul Klee in Bern, Switzerland.
The Stammplatz is a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional handmade chair, which you often see in mountain huts, e.g. in the Swiss Alps with a sheepskin on top. This chair was designed to match the Quodes Stammtisch table, also a design by Alfredo Häberli. Of course, the chair can also be combined with many other tables.
Felt caps under the legs (can be turned over, if necessary, to reveal hard caps).
If you would like more than 4 chairs, maybe that is possible, please send a message.
