Purchased new myself from Ahrend in 1979 for my architecture firm. This chair lends itself perfectly to conference rooms etc. They are linkable and not unimportantly stackable. Despite long time in storage they have considerable signs of use and a single glue seam is loose. Hence the price. The designer for Thonet, Gerd Lange then marketed a revolutionary design for longevity. They can still last a long time. Delivery for € 40, - !
