Frame: aluminum scaffolding tubes (diameter approx 4.5cm), unscrewed for transport.
Top: varnished plywood.
Each desk has a junction box (6 or 8 points) and cable tray.
Designed in 2010 for use in office for (graphic) designers, where the extra large worktop is ideal for storage space next to the computer. Because the tables have exactly a 1:2 ratio, multiple arrangements can easily be made, including thus a large work island.
Two gray drawer units fit nicely under the top and may be included.
The ravages of time have only had a relatively limited influence, but a few points are worth mentioning. Here and there some dents can be found in the wood because something (too) heavy has been placed on it. Around the work area there may be slight discoloration/wear (certainly not on all tables). On one desk top there are small discolorations that seem to be caused by moisture and on another top there is a somewhat larger spot, I suspect caused by coffee/tea or something similar (on the photos the front transverse desk). Much of this, by the way, can be quickly remedied by sanding the top and adding a coat of new clear coat.
