Børge Mogensen designed the J39 Chair in 1947 for Fredericia. Its simple appearance, timeless and functional design make the chair a true classic of the Danish design culture of the 1950s. A beautiful combination of craftsmanship with understated sustainable design. The J39 is a versatile chair that you will enjoy sitting in and has been in continuous production since its introduction in 1947. To this day, both new and vintage versions of the J39 chair are used in public institutions, universities, cafes, restaurants and private homes around the world.
The set has been fully restored and has a new papercord seat. The chairs are like new again. Matching (extendable) Øresund table is currently being restored and will be available soon
