suite of 4 chairs by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Edsby Verken, designed and made in Finland, 1950s. Structures in black lacquered beech and seats in teak. In good overall condition, traces of use, the rungs appear to have been glued back together cleanly. A stable, comfortable model, a timelessly elegant classic of Scandinavian design.
