Set of 4 La Fonda Side Chairs by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller (8 pieces in total). Here in the rare version with La Fonda frame, designed for the La Fonda restaurant in collaboration with Alexander Girard (design year: 1961). Seat shell made of fiberglass, upholstery fabric made of brown mottled hopsack. Base made of cast aluminum, powder-coated in white.

Good to very good original vintage condition with signs of wear due to age. Upholstery is in very good condition and still attached to the hop sack (no detachments, creases etc.). Slight patina on the frame and hopsack (to be removed by cleaning). Very beautiful and rare midcentury design classic.
