Product description
1 Serving plate and 3 bowls from the Seagull series by Bing and Grøndahl. Bing & Grøndahl's SEAGULL dinner service, known in Danish as "Mågestellet," was designed by Fanny Garde (1855-1928) and is perhaps Denmark's most famous dinner service of all. The service was first introduced to the market in 1892 and was in production for more than 100 years until that came to an end in 2011. In 1987, the company merged with its main competitor, the Royal Porcelain Factory under the name Royal Copenhagen. Bing & Grøndahl's (B&G) porcelain stamp depicts the three towers referencing the coat of arms of Copenhagen.
