We purchased the chairs new from a reputable dealer in mid-2014. Minimal scratches in the plastic shells, practically invisible in everyday use. Only one seat cushion has a very small stain, also barely noticeable in everyday use. The upholstery, which is currently being professionally cleaned for sale, otherwise looks like new. Swivel mechanism as new, smooth-running.
