The family business Matteo Grassi was founded in 1880 in the Brianza region of Italy. The Grassi family began making saddles, bridles, reins and not much later furniture.
This set of four beautiful leather dining chairs is quite rare. Most Grassi chairs are covered entirely in leather, but in this set the frame is black lacquered aluminum. The back and seat are finished with high-quality thick saddle leather.
They are lightweight and offer excellent seating comfort.
All chairs are in very good condition, consistent with their age and use, with signs of use.
Each chair has some superficial scratches and dents on the seat, but no cracks or major defects.
