Product description
A set of four beautiful fired ceramic mugs, beautifully glazed in brown and blue. Their ringed cylindrical shape with a very slight foot just marked by a recessed circle is very modern and particularly pretty. Stamped below Greber, they probably date from the 50s or early 60s, just before the final closure of the family factory in Beauvais in 1961. They're very original for their time and seem to me quite rare, the first time I've come across such Greber-stamped cups. They are in very good condition, with no cracks or chips, and perhaps a few tiny chips, but it seems to me that these are the original marks: small enamel chips on the base, or a few bubbles bursting in the enamel. They measure 9.8 cm high and 7 cm in diameter.
