Sublime, very rare suite of 4 chic cocktail or orangeade glasses. Vintage 60's "Space Age" style with minimalist elegance. Crystal or crystalline glass, very brilliant rainbow reflections, magnificent transparency and slight sound, perhaps attenuated by the thickness of the base, they are also rather heavy, so I think they are crystal. Hand-crafted, mouth-blown, in the style of Boussu (Belgium), Kosta Boda (Sweden), Holmegaard (Denmark) or Murano (Italy), the manufacture here is more complex and more beautiful. High cylindrical shape. The crystal itself is colorless, with a thick base containing a bubble, and a thick, midnight-blue, slightly gray, light-dependent crystal rondelle underneath. The bubble has been implanted in the base, and passing through this layer of blue crystal, we notice a small veil under the translucent blue glass/crystal bubble... A bit like in some sulfides. The effect is superb. 14.6cm high, 6.5cm diameter. Containers only 9.5cm high, the remaining 5cm representing the bases. Impeccable condition, although slight variations in shape and size are to be noted as these are all hand-made pieces. These glasses will add a touch of chic to any table. Approx. 500gr each.
