The Swing Chair was designed in 1982 by Herbert and Jutta Ohl for the German manufacturer Rosenthal Lübke . This extraordinary Design is characterized by clear lines and striking geometry. The seat is made entirely of steel rods arranged concentrically and independently of each other to ensure that the seat naturally adjusts to the user's weight. The Swing Chair is also available as a pair, both in excellent condition, although with some signs of wear commensurate with age. Herbert Ohl was a particularly active German architect and designer in the second half of the 20th century. Before he became head of the renowned HfG Ulm University, he worked with Egon Eiermann. After moving to Milan, he renovated the La Rinasecente shopping centers together with Gino Valle. Jutta Ohl was a German painter, sculptor and designer. The Swing collection proposed for Rosenthal was heavily influenced by her creative sensibility, which produced a furnishing system that included two types of chairs and a table.
