Not only was Eiermann highly regarded as an architect, he also had a lasting influence on a generation of furniture designers. Eiermann was the first to develop series furniture in Germany after World War II that met international standards of form and functionality. He is considered the leader of the Second Modern Movement in the field of furniture design. Eiermann designed a 1948 collection of chairs for Wilde & Spieth. The S197 chairs are in good condition, but do have signs of use (one more than the other) Are offered per 2 pieces.
