The Vitra Softshell Office Chair is a design by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. The combination of the inviting appearance with the soft upholstery makes the Softshell a popular office chair. The chair has a five-star base on wheels made of powder-coated (basic dark) or polished aluminum of your choice. The backrest and seat are made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide covered with polyurethane foam for high-quality comfort. For the upholstery of the chair, you can choose from fabric and leather from different groups in different design options. The office chair is equipped with soft wheels as standard, suitable for hard floors. On request, the chair can also be fitted with hard wheels, suitable for soft floors.
The armrests are integrated into the seat shell. For an optimal ergonomic position, the office chair can be adjusted in height from a minimum of 76.5 centimeters high to a maximum of 89.5 centimeters high. The seat height varies in this way from 38.5 centimeters to 50 centimeters. The chair itself is 62 centimeters wide and 56.5 centimeters deep, the diameter of the base is 77 centimeters.
