A little background information: The Eames Plastic Chair DSR Chrome is a design by the American designer duo Charles & Ray Eames and belongs to the Vitra collection. The Eames Plastic Chairs are an innovative reinterpretation of the famous and phenomenal Fiberglass Chairs that saw the light of day in 1948 and went into production in 1950. These new ' Plastic' variants have been produced since the 1990s. In contrast to the traditional Fiberglass chairs, the Plastic Chairs are made of thoroughly colored polypropylene, which makes the shell of the Eames Plastic Chairs more flexible and has a very durable colour.
