Product description
Original vintage foldable dining chairs by the Slovenian architect Niko Kralj (1920-2013) for Stol, 1950s / Original vintage folding beech armchairs/dining table chairs designed in the 1950s by the Slovenian architect Niko Kralj (1920-2013) for Stol. The chairs consist of solid beech seats and beautifully designed beech plywood armrests. The appearance of these chairs, which are included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum in Denmark, is characterized by the milled slots in the seat and backrest. The mechanism for folding the chair is also a nice detail. Iconic design with an ergonomic seat.
Condition: fair to good condition. The woodwork is intact, but has some worn spots. The folding mechanism works well, but has some play due to use over time.
