Dear interested party,
I hereby offer these two matching authentic Chinese bridal chests. I bought them from an antique store through a second-hand store, which imported them from China in the 70s/80s.
They are two brothers, although not identical. The smaller one is a bit darker and is made of teak, the other is of a hardwood species unknown to me. They are dovetailed together, have similar Chinese hardware, and creak and squeak so wonderfully when opening and closing.
I am selling them because opening my own antique store will be a while in coming. So should they be able to be gotten rid of in the meantime, that's okay with me.
Sizes are approximate.
