Design by the design team of Space Copenhagen, consisting of Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou With the pendant lamp Copenhagen they have combined the elegant with the industrial. Because while the shade of the lamp made of mouth-blown opal glass looks very elegant, the suspension with the screws recalls the characteristics of the industrial style. The light output of the mouth-blown opal glass shade is open at the bottom. This lamp series is produced by Danish furniture and lamp manufacturer &Tradition. The company's philosophy is to produce products with tradition, either true classics from the last century or future classics - simply timeless products. The Copenhagen SC54 opal/brass bronze wall lamp was designed with a strong maritime inspiration, as gas lamps from the capital's port facilities strongly influenced the form. The basic shape was modernized in the process, but the mouth-blown opal glass shade that clips onto the cord with stretched curved metal breathes the historical background.
