Stone Ostergaard is a Danish architect and industrial designer, known for his contributions to Space Age design. The President Chair was used in The Wrath of Khan, in Captain Kirk's apartment.
Used in:
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan A pair of Cado 265 lounge chairs designed by Stone Ostergaard are also known as both the 'President' and 'Meteor' chairs. Denmark, 1960s, heavily influenced by the space age!
Injection molded plastic in 2 parts. The headrest section is bolted to the lumbar support.
Refinished in a high gloss white automotive paint and restored in mottled gray Kvadrat wool upholstery. These chairs are rare in both the US and Europe.
Dimensions 37" deep approx. x 35" wide x 33" high
seat width 25" x 18.5" deep x 14" high. The seat slopes lower towards the back.
