These lamps have a perspex (acrylic) shade in black and white, the shades can rotate allowing you to customize the direction of light to suit your preferences.
The base of the lamps is made of solid brass and it allows the shade to pivot and tilt in every direction.
The on/off switch is located on the back plate which is also made from solid brass.
