Description:
solid teak frame with spherical armrests; dark reddish-brown, partly almost black heartwood, which runs through the surface as if painted; seat and backrest module with wear-free spiral spring belt covering with protective sheathing; seat frame provided with additional protective felt padding;
New upholstered foam cushions with new premium textile cover (see material for properties), removable with zipper;
Seams all executed as an elegant fell seam according to the original pattern (with this type of seam, the individual cover parts interlock as with finger hooking and are then double stitched. This type of seam is therefore considerably more robust, has a significantly higher tensile strength and is significantly more durable than the usual single / standard seams).

A particularly robust and heavy (almost 700g/rm) premium upholstery material with a very beautiful, striking woven look was chosen here, in which duotones bring out the woven structure even better. This textured upholstery fabric is easy to care for, hard-wearing and has also been treated with stain protection. It is characterized by a very high abrasion resistance of over 100,000 abrasion cycles and is therefore twice as durable as upholstery materials used for public facilities with very heavy use. (highest quality range according to Martindale) (from 50,000 abrasion cycles) The degree of light fastness is greater than 5.

The photos are exposed in high light so that the 1a condition can also be seen in detail! Reddish tones become redder and colors generally brighter. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones.

Condition:
This lounge chair is in such good condition that it is almost indistinguishable from new (if that existed). It has been lovingly restored by a restorer using traditional and natural materials. The teak frame is "as good as new", the usual scratches and imperfections are of course nowhere to be found. The beautiful, high-quality brass screw fittings on the backrest are also "like new". The cushions and covers are also new as described! Result: You are welcome to go looking for it, you won't find it better anywhere!
