Set of 2 rare fiberglass chairs, designed in 1961 by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller.
This is an original fiberglass model with a less common low back, designed for the La Fonda Restaurant in New York.
Both chairs have the characteristic La Fonda base and are equipped with the original burgundy red fabric upholstery, designed by the legendary designer Alexander Girard.
The chairs are completely original, still have the original fabric upholstery, and are very sturdy and comfortable.Both chairs are in beautiful and sturdy condition with some signs of wear. For example, the chairs have a spot on the fabric here and there and the base has some pieces where the paint is missing.
