Product description
Original vintage armchairs, type 7018/1019, designed in the 1950s by Toon de White. Chairs have a comfortable seat, have been restored and reupholstered with a dark blue (royal blue) Manchester furniture fabric.
The interior consists of the original springs, finished with new cold foam. Bakelite armrests are in perfect condition, as is the high-gloss tubular frame base.

The company Gebr. de Wit NV from Schiedam was founded after the war by two brothers, Toon and Martien de White. Toon was the designer and worked as a designer at Gispen before the war. They supplied quality tubular furniture and also made it for Gispen, among others. The company closed its doors in 1977.
very light scratches on the frame, normal for the age of the chairs (1950s)
Chairs are really in very good condition.
It may appear from some of the photos that there are light spots on the seat. However, this is the shade or hint of the fabric (corduroy)
Fabric is new (reupholstered) and completely in order.
