Product description
Two Fanett chairs, model 65T, from the 1960s, in very good condition. Only a few signs of use. The 'Fanett' chair was originally designed in 1956 by the famous Finnish designer and architect Ilmari Tapiovaara, known for his distinctive, functional and innovative designs. Tapiovaara placed his artistic focus on the design and development of exemplary multi-functional chairs. He designed the Fanett for the Swedish furniture factory Edsby-verken. In 1965, the chair's design was slightly modified to make it even more comfortable. This resulted in the model 65T, with seven bars and a narrower seat. This chair is now iconic, with recognizable design elements: a rounded seat, a beautifully curved seat edge and a beautifully designed and finished u-shape under the chair to which the legs are attached. A factory mark is still visible. The chairs are very comfortable and are lightweight, graceful and stylish. They are an absolute eye-catcher. Chair height: 84 cm Seat width: 42 cm Seat depth: 43 cm Seat height: 43 cm
