Two original armchairs by Dykmeyer, model The Dikkert. Lilac rib fabric upholstery. Black wooden armrests. Wonderful seating comfort. Inspired by the Avant Garde furniture of the 1930s, De Dikkert owes its name to the beautiful large curved armrests that continue to the back. Slight signs of use on the armrests (black paint somewhat worn off) and the seats (fabric). Otherwise in fine condition. Purchased at Casper Haring Design, design by De Machinekamer, for 599. Seat height 40 cm. Seat width and depth 56 cm. Back height 57 cm. Overall length 83 cm, overall height 76 cm, overall width 62 cm. Armrest height 67 cm.
Fabric on seat area a bit worn and slightly discolored. And on the wooden armrests, the black paint is a bit worn (on one chair more than the other).
