The Cone K1 Chair by Verner Panton is an excellent example of his preference for unconventional design solutions and his love of experimenting with geometric shapes. This design from 1958 was produced by Plus-Linje.
The aluminum frame supports an inverted cone made of sheet steel, which is covered with fabric and upholstered with foam on the backrest. The seat cushion of the Cone K1 is loose and can be removed.
